Semi-aquatic animals called African Clawless Otters are renowned for their gregarious and lively nature. They are usually found in close proximity to freshwater environments including marshes, lakes, and rivers. Their webbed feet and streamlined torso allow them to swim quite well. Due to the lack of fully developed claws on their front limbs, African Clawless Otters are known by their other name—”clawless.” Rather, their well-developed pads and powerful, muscular digits let them hold their prey.
